Gutter Protection Products & Outdoor Shade Solutions
Gutter Helmet helps keep leaves, pine needles, and other debris out of your gutters without relying on mesh or filters that can clog. Its filter-free design uses surface tension to direct rainwater into the gutter while debris slides over the edge. That means less gutter maintenance and fewer reasons to climb a ladder.
Gutter Helmet is installed over properly functioning gutters. If you need new gutters first, we can install seamless gutters sized for your home before adding gutter protection.
A retractable awning provides shade when you want it without permanently covering your patio or deck. Sunesta awnings extend to reduce direct sun and retract when you want an open view of the sky. We can customize the system for your home, with motorized operation, sizing, fabric, and other options available.
Exterior patio screens provide vertical protection around covered patios, porches, and similar spaces. Eclipse screens can reduce sunlight and glare, add privacy, limit wind, and help keep insects out while maintaining airflow and visibility. Motorized operation lets you lower the screens when you need them and retract them when you do not.
A motorized pergola creates adjustable overhead coverage for patios and entertaining areas that need more than temporary shade. The roof opens to let in sunlight and airflow, then closes when you want greater protection from direct sun or changing weather. It’s a good option for homeowners who want to create a more defined exterior living area without building a fully enclosed addition.
Colorado's freeze-thaw cycles can lead to ice buildup along gutters and roof edges. Helmet Heat cable helps manage these problem areas during winter, particularly on homes with heavy snow exposure or colder, north-facing rooflines.
Not Sure Which Shading System You Need?
Retractable awnings, exterior screens, and motorized pergolas all provide shade, but they solve different problems.
Choose a retractable awning when you need flexible overhead shade for an existing patio or deck.
Choose exterior patio screens when you already have overhead coverage but want protection from sun, glare, wind, insects, or unwanted visibility around the sides.
Choose a motorized pergola when you want to create a more substantial covered area with adjustable overhead protection.
During your free estimate, we'll look at your space, sun exposure, existing coverage, and how you want to use the area before recommending a system.

What Our Customers Say
Ben and Maxx did an awesome job of installing my gutter helmets and heat tape. They even installed a downspout that will work with my rain barrel in the summer and drain normal in the winter. Was so appreciative for that. Buy Gutter Helmet. No more cleaning gutters. You wont be disappointed!
I highly recommend this company for awnings. It has the best customer service of anyone I have ever used. Jack has responded quickly to my inquiries even after installation. I had a small malfunction a year after installation and it was repaired quickly and with no extra charge. I love my awning and love that I can use my deck all summer long.
Gutter Helmet by Around the House team did an outstanding job installing Gutter Helmet on our house. They were respectful of our time and completed the work quickly, efficiently, and neatly. They didn’t try to upsell us on something we didn’t need such as gutters, down spouts, roof etc. They explained the process and what to expect at every step. On top of that, we had additional questions and the team answered us quickly. I highly recommend Around the House.
After Hail Damage, Gutter Helmet folks did a great job removing and replacing the system. They were easy to work with and got everything done on time! Our Home Owners Insurance worked closely with them! Leon did an excellent installation!
We have had the Gutter Helmet system on our gutters for many years now and this past summer the hailstorm did damage to the roof and gutters and we needed to get them replaced. Jack and his crew were very easy to work with and the installer was very helpful with my questions and installed them with no issues. If you still clean out your house gutters, I would recommend Gutter Helmet, you will be happy you did.

Gutter helmet was a great firm to work with. I got the heated gutter helmets, heated valleys and new gutters. Jack was great to work with. The installers were efficient as well. Great investment for your home. My front porch mainly faces north and we have tons of ponderosa pines. My porch is no longer an ice skating rink lol. Thank you gutter helmet!
