Welcome to Gutter Helmet® of the Pikes Peak Region, owned and operated by Kirt, Vicki, Maxx, and Jack Byerly. Our dealership serves El Paso, Pueblo, Fremont, Elbert, Otero, and Teller Counties in the Colorado Springs area.
Meet The Family
Kirt and Vicki Byerly moved to Colorado in 2003 from Indiana with their two sons, Maxx and Jack. The Byerly’s desire to live in an inspiring, healthy, family oriented community, prompted them to follow their dreams to the sunny blue skies of Colorado. They love the outdoors and spend their weekends outside hiking, skiing, snowmobiling and fishing. The move has been a great experience for the family as well as a great challenging experience as well.
The Byerly’s have both owned and operated small businesses for several years. They have successfully owned and managed rental properties, an auto body shop and a hair salon. They are self-made and hardworking people with an entrepreneurial spirit.
Arriving in Colorado Springs, they first started, Around the House, LLC., their home improvement company. Around the House continues to offer many services such as, minor repairs, deck rebuilding, painting, and odd jobs.

We have had the Gutter Helmet system on our gutters for many years now and this past summer the hailstorm did damage to the roof and gutters and we needed to get them replaced. Jack and his crew were very easy to work with and the installer was very helpful with my questions and installed them with no issues. Gutter helmet was a great firm to work with. I got the heated gutter helmets, heated valleys and new gutters. Jack was great to work with. The installers were efficient as well. Great investment for your home. My front porch mainly faces north and we have tons of ponderosa pines. My porch is no longer an ice skating rink lol. Thank you gutter helmet!
Gutter Helmet identified a problem after a hail storm. They coordinated all the repairs and insurance payments. They sent a second person to verify all the repair was done to their consistency high standards. They were patient while my insurance paid the claim. If they had questions, they would immediately call. Simply outstanding!
We love our awning!!! Jack had our awning ordered quickly and it was installed quickly as well. We will call Jack again for any upgrades we may want in the future. He was courteous and a pleasure to work with.
